Union Hospitality Group, which owns Union Sushi & Barbecue Bar, The Franklin Room and The Madison Bar & Kitchen is proud to announce TakeOut4Cancer, a new initiative where $1 from every meal delivery will benefit Imerman Angels, a free one-on-one cancer support community. The partnership launched on #GivingTuesday, November 28.
Each order is delivered (via the restaurant directly, DoorDash or Grubhub) in a complimentary, reusable keepsake tote.
“As our restaurant concepts continue to expand in the city, our delivery service continues to grow into new neighborhoods,” says Mike Schatzman, owner of Union Hospitality Group. “We realized this is an ideal community outreach platform for charity- with the support of our customers who order from us, but at no additional cost to them.”
“We’re grateful to Union Hospitality Group for developing this innovative program and selecting us as beneficiary,” says Imerman Angels CEO & Executive Director Ben Bornstein. “Not only will the funds help support Imerman Angels, but we will also be able to directly reach more homes with our mission to provide free personalized connections that enable one-on-one support among cancer fighters, survivors and caregivers.”
