Jingle Bell Rock [and roll] your way to Hard Rock Cafe Chicago,  Molise PR client, this holiday season for a free, family-friendly holiday music show featuring Rosie and The Rivets, Chicago’s premiere retro rock and roll show.

Beginning Saturday, November 18, in conjunction with The BMO Harris Bank Magnificent Mile Lights Festival, The “Jingle Bell Rock” Holiday Music Show will delight the whole family. The event will feature holiday music favorites with a retro twist in addition to the best danceable music of the 1950’s and early 1960’s for a truly theatrical experience.

During the show, guests will have the opportunity to order food and beverages from Hard Rock Cafe’s legendary menu like the Chicago Pizza Local Legendary Burger, the new vegetarian friendly Cauliflower Burger, fresh salads and decadent desserts. Plus, little ones can enjoy kid-approved items off the Little Rocker menu. Seating for the “Jingle Bell Rock” Holiday Music Show is first come, first serve, and reservations are highly recommended.

Salud! Mercadito Chicago, Molise PR client, is raising a glass to National Tequila Day with a special prix fixe menu including a specialty Mercadito tequila cocktail of your choice, available on Monday, July 24 from 3 p.m. to Midnight.

The National Tequila Day prix fixe menu costs $35 per person, plus tax and gratuity, and includes a trio of guacamole, two dishes of ceviches or botanas, four tacos, one side dish, a dessert of your choice and specialty tequila cocktail.

First, pick your beverage of choice from Mercadito’s offering of specialty tequila cocktails including: Margarita Tradicional, Gato Amargo, La Vida Rosa, Pepino el Pyu, Hibis-Calyptus, Casagria, V-9, Little Market, Paloma Diabla, Misty’s Sleeve, One-Thumbed Mayan, Smokey Pablo, Big Nose Goes to Mexico and Tres Viejos.

Begin your meal with a trio of guacamole including Tradicional, Mango, and Toreado. Next, choose two from the following: Ceviches include Camarón, Mixto, and Dorado; and Botanas including Flautas, Queso Fundido, and Corn Masa Quesadillas.

Culinary Fight Club will take place on June 19 and feature a showdown between four local chefs with proceeds benefiting local non-profit, Fight2Feed. Yappy Hour Tuesdays will kick off on June 20 and take place on the dog-friendly outside patio.

Culinary Fight Club Pitmaster Throw down Challenge – Monday, June 19

On Monday, June 19, Hard Rock Cafe will host a Culinary Fight Club Pitmaster Throw down Challenge from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., where four local Chicago chefs will battle it out in a seriously tasty cook-off. A portion of proceeds from the event will benefit Fight2Feed, a non-profit with a mission end hunger in Chicago by partnering with local restaurants to reduce food waste and share food with people in need.

Participating chefs will have two hours to create their best dish that combines the art of BBQ, grilling and open fire cooking. Industry experts will judge contestants based on presentation and how well the chefs have mastered the pit by cooking up the perfect protein and two sides.

Competing chefs include: Dylan Lipe, The Budlong Hot Chicken; Hipolito Sanchez, Slow Motion For Meat; Kristina Gaardbo, Chicago Culinary Kitchen and Rockin Rodizio; and Corey Rice, a Chicago home cook.

Make Cinco de Mayo a weeklong celebration at Mercadito Chicago, a Chicago PR agency client, with a Cinco de Mayo Experiential Dinner on Monday, May 1 and a special five-course prix fixe menu available Friday, May 5. Plus, guests are invited to attempt Mercadito’s Vato Loco cocktail, known as the “Hottest Drink on Earth.”

Start the festivities early with a special Cinco de Mayo Experiential Dinner. Guests are invited to enjoy five courses, each expertly paired with Mezcales de Leyenda pours.

Begin the celebration with a selection of Botanas Mexicanas that includes Tostaditas de Tinga de Res, Guacamole con Chicharron, Tacos Dorados, Sopes de Chorizo and Tacos de Chicharron en Salsa.

Guests will then enjoy Tamales de Mole Poblano, revel in Chile Relleno de Quesillo and indulge in Pozole Rojo. For dessert, guests will be treated to Flan Napolitano.

Plus, guests are invited with caution to try the Vato Loco cocktail, known as “The Hottest Drink on Earth” at Mercadito. The Vato Loco is perfectly mixed with ancho- infused blanco tequila, arbol chile syrup, pineapple-habanero puree, whole milk, fresh lime juice, a flaming jalapeno with over-proofed rum and four dashes of Tabasco, $15. Guests are required to sign a waiver form before attempting the Vato Loco cocktail.

La Mez Agave Lounge’s Mixology Academy Returns at Mercadito Chicago

Shake things up at La Mez Agave Lounge, a Chicago PR client located downstairs at Mercadito Chicago Their Mixology Academy returns with a spring course on Saturday, April 15 from 3-5 p.m. The course, led by Paul Tanguey, Beverage Director, will feature Dustin Miller with Maestro Dobel Tequila and cost $45 per guest.

At the La Mez Mixology Academy, guests will learn tips and techniques to craft perfectly balanced cocktails at home, all while absorbing a bit of useful alcohol history and getting a little saucy with friends and classmates. In additional to the libations, appetizers will be provided by Mercadito Chicago’s Executive Chef Patricio Sandoval.

Ah spring, we meet again. Mercadito Chicago, River North’s upscale, authentic Mexican restaurant and Molise PR client, is welcoming the new season with open arms with a special Feliz Primavera Experiential Dinner on Monday, March 20 from 6-9 p.m.

First, guests will warm up their appetites with a Trio of Guacamoles that includes Tradicional, avocado, pico de gallo, Serrano chiles, lime, cilantro and crispy tortillas; Ramps, avocado, tomatillo pico de gallo, pickled ramps, grilled corn and epazote and Al Pastor, avocado, pico de gallo, double cut bacon, grilled pineapple, ancho-guajillo chiles, cured onions and cilantro chicharrón.

Guests will then delight in a Trio de Ceviches that includes Dorado, lemon marinated mahi, pico de gallo, avocado, orange, chile de arbol broth and crispy avocado; Camaron, poached shrimp, pico de gallo, mango-jicama slaw, Serrano, lime chile piquin broth and mint; and Mixto, poached shrimp, octopus, mahi, tomatillo pico de gallo, passion fruit-Serrano broth and epazote.

The third course includes two tacos and a side; Carne, epazote marinated skirt steak, fava bean-potato hash, corn, salsa verde and crispy potato; Pollo, lemon-thyme marinated grilled chicken, artichoke hearts, Serrano-bacon mojo and crispy artichokes; and a side of Asparagus Toreados.

What’s a celebration without more tacos? Guests will be treated to two additional tacos that include Lobster, smoked peach hash, grilled ramps, jalapeño emulsion and chicharron and Pancita, herb marinated pork belly, roasted orange hash, cured onions and cilantro, spring greens slaw, chipotle piloncillo vinaigrette and crispy red onions, with a side of Spring Vegetable Slaw.

To end on a sweet note, guests will indulge in Tres Leches Cake.
