Summer and festival season is in full swing in the city, and Hard Rock Cafe Chicago, a Chicago Public Relations client, (63 West Ontario) is heating up the music scene with a great lineup of live performances at the cafe through the end of September. Join Hard Rock Cafe Chicago in rocking out to the sounds of Rhythm Method, Local Jokes, Man Called Noon and The My Tys. Plus, catch former Million Dollar Quartet member Lance Lipinsky and his band the Lovers in the final run of their live interactive dinner show Rock Baby Rock before it hits the road.
Rhythm Method and Local Jokes
On Saturday, August 13 beginning at 10:30 p.m., guests are invited to rock out with Rhythm Method, an energetic rock band performing hit classic covers and deep tracks from the ‘60s, ’70s, ’80s and ‘90s including hits from The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen, Queen, AC/DC, Sublime, and Weezer. There are no gimmicks, just timeless music played by great musicians.
Then, at 11:45 p.m., Local Jokes, a Blues and Rock cover band, will hit the stage to play songs by renowned artists ranging from Amy Winehouse to Bill Withers.

Man Called Noon and The My Tys
On Saturday, August 20 beginning at 10:30 p.m., guests are invited to jam out with Man Called Noon, a Chicago based indie/alternative rock band, with a melodic mixture of classic Americana and post-grunge rock, pop, and soul. The band incorporates boisterous guitars and booming bass riffs that erupt over impassioned soulful lyrics, resulting in a distinct and in your-face-sound that can only be harnessed by Man Called Noon.
Beginning at 11:45 p.m., The My Tys hit the stage. The My Tys, a 2 tone ska and reggae group, pay homage to classic 2 tone bands such as Madness, The Specials and Bad Manners while also carving out their own sound, bringing something new to the Chicago ska and reggae scene.

Rock Baby Rock- A Live Interactive Dinner Show
Boogie ‘til you can’t boogie no more! Due to an overwhelming response, Hard Rock Cafe Chicago and Foxhole Chicago have extended final performances of their live, interactive dinner show Rock Baby Rock on select Tuesdays through September including August 2, 9, 16, 23, 30; and September 6, 20 and 27. Shake, Rattle and Roll once more before they take their final bow and pack up the show to take it on the road.
Rock Baby Rock is a family-friendly and fun-for-all-ages show starring Lance Lipinsky, an original cast member in the hit Chicago musical Million Dollar Quartet where he played the role of Jerry Lee Lewis, and his band the Lovers. Guests of Rock Baby Rock can dance and sing along as the show celebrates the birth and history of the Rock & Roll era of the late 1940s to mid 1960s, featuring major hits from some of the biggest artists of the era including “Great Balls of Fire,” by Jerry Lee Lewis, “Shake Rattle & Roll,” by Bill Haley & the Comets, “Don’t’ Be Cruel” by Elvis Presley, “The Twist” by Chubby Checker and Buddy Holly’s “Peggy Sue”.
