Hard Rock Cafe Chicago, a Chicago PR client, is welcoming autumn with a pumpkin patch outside in the Hard Rock parking lot, along with a Bank of America Chicago Marathon post-race celebration at the cafe. Additionally, Hard Rock Cafe Chicago will host its Hard Rock After Dark series featuring live band karaoke on Thursday nights and live music on Friday and Saturday nights.

Pumpkin Patch, Halloween Shop, Carving Parties & More

Each day from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. guests can enjoy a pumpkin patch containing an array of pumpkins, gourds, Indian corn, corn stalks and hay bales. In addition, a Halloween shop will be present featuring signature Halloween items like costumes, Halloween pails, carving kits and more

Private pumpkin carving parties on Hard Rock Cafe Chicago’s patio are also available for booking for groups of 30 or less. Tickets are $35 per person and include a pumpkin, a carving kit, paint and stationed Hard Rock Cafe appetizers.

Bank of America Chicago Marathon – Goose Island Post-Race Celebration

On Sunday, October 8,e76af7fb880aa12649ffffd7_560x372 runners from all 50 states and more than 100 countries will embark on 26.2 picturesque miles through downtown Chicago towards the finish line for the 2017 Bank of America Chicago Marathon. Participants and spectators are then invited to join the Goose I
sland Post-Race Celebration outside in the Hard Rock parking lot from 3 p.m. 7 p.m., where guests can enjoy drink specials at the Goose Island Garden and live entertainment throughout the day.

Admission to the post-race celebration is free.

Hard Rock After Dark – Live Band Karaoke on Thursdays and Live Music Fridays and Saturdays

Rock star guests can take the Hard Rock stage for live band karaoke, Thursday’s at 9 p.m., and belt out the greatest hits from their favorite artists backed by a full band. During the show, guests can enjoy drink specials including $4 Goose Island, Revolution, Metropolitan and Half Acre on draft, $5 select well cocktails and house wine.

Guests are also invited every Friday and Saturday night from 9 – 11 p.m., to stop into the cafe for a night of free live music.

Hard Rock After Dark is open to all ages.

Chicago’s Original Gene & Georgetti Launches Saturday Morning Brunch

The city’s original steakhouse since 1941, Gene & Georgetti, a Molise PR client, introduces Saturday Brunch for the first time in more than 76 years in its downtown location in River North. Saturday Brunch will feature a selection of signature menu items and Bloody Marys available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Make Cinco de Mayo a weeklong celebration at Mercadito Chicago, a Chicago PR agency client, with a Cinco de Mayo Experiential Dinner on Monday, May 1 and a special five-course prix fixe menu available Friday, May 5. Plus, guests are invited to attempt Mercadito’s Vato Loco cocktail, known as the “Hottest Drink on Earth.”

Cinco de Mayo Experiential Dinner, May 1 from 6-9 p.m.

Start the festivities early with a special Cinco de Mayo Experiential Dinner. Guests are invited to enjoy five courses, each expertly paired with Mezcales de Leyenda pours.

Begin the celebration with a selection of Botanas Mexicanas that includes Tostaditas de Tinga de Res, Guacamole con Chicharron, Tacos Dorados, Sopes de Chorizo and Tacos de Chicharron en Salsa.

Guests will then enjoy Tamales de Mole Poblano, revel in Chile Relleno de Quesillo and indulge in Pozole Rojo. For dessert, guests will be treated to Flan Napolitano. 

The Cinco de Mayo Experiential Dinner costs $85 per guest, plus tax and gratuity. Reservations are required.

Cinco de Mayo Five-Course Prix Fixe Menu, May 5 from 4 pm – Close

Plus, guests are invited with caution to try the Vato Loco cocktail, known as “The Hottest Drink on Earth” at Mercadito. The Vato Loco is perfectly mixed with ancho- infused blanco tequila, arbol chile syrup, pineapple-habanero puree, whole milk, fresh lime juice, a flaming jalapeno with over-proofed rum and four dashes of Tabasco, $15. Guests are required to sign a waiver form before attempting the Vato Loco cocktail.

Hard Rock Cafe Chicago announces their lineup of live music through February featuring performances by Anthem, Paragon, Heroso, Teenage Mutant 90’s Turtles and more.

Anthem and Paragon – Friday, January 27

Beginning at 9:30 p.m., jam out to Anthem, a musical experience that goes above and beyond the typical classic rock band, covering all-time favorites like Styx, Whitesnake, Led Zeppelin, Kansas, Queen, Eagles, Neon Trees, Neil Diamond, Sublime and more!

Paragon hits the stage next, beginning at 10:30 p.m. Originating from the western suburbs of Illinois, this band mixes heavy rock and reggae to provide a new perspective to head bangin’, foot stomping, heart in your throat, music.

Doors open at 9 p.m. Tickets are $8 for advance purchase and $10 at the door. The show is ages 18+.

Earth Program and Oops – Saturday, January 28

First to hit the stage at 10 p.m. is Earth Program. Regarded for their unique cross-genre music stylings, classifying their music as “atomic rawk,” and “space punk,” and incorporating various multimedia elements on stage, Earth Program has extended their unique singular vision by creating an entire universe around it. This group incorporates various multimedia elements including projected visuals, robots & theatrics into their on and off stage repertoire. You won’t want to miss this.

Oops hits the Hard Rock Stage next, beginning at 11 p.m. Oops is a rock trio from Chicago with influences of pop, grunge and punk who quite simply, “melt the faces.”

The BluPrint Band and Sweet Diezel Jenkins – Friday, February 3

The BluPrint Band, taking the stage at 9:30 p.m., is an aggressive Top 40 Pop cover band that generates high-energy performances that keeps the audience begging for more. Covers include the likes of Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, Maroon 5, Kanye West and much more.

Sweet Diezel Jenkins then perform on the Hard Rock Stage, beginning at 10:30 p.m. Sweet Diezel Jenkins mashes up hits of yesterday and today, adding a heavy hand of backyard feel good party vibe with a dash of gritty juke joint smoky goodness, covering Usher, Kings of Leon, James Brown and more.

Country Night with Hodie Snitch, Perry Hutchins and Ethan Kinsella – Saturday, February 4

Country Night at Hard Rock begins at 9:30 p.m. with Hodie Snitch, covering fan favorites from Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Hank Williams Jr., Charlie Daniels and more.

Perry Hutchins takes the stage next at 10:30 p.m. Perry blends styles of rock, blues and country, focusing on writing songs about everyday life that everyone can relate to.

Ethan Kinsella is up next at 11:30 p.m. Devoting his life to country and bluegrass music, Ethan is sure to keep the party going!

The My Tys, Soft Speaker and Jacob Horn Trio – Friday, February 10

The My Tys hit the stage beginning at 9:30 p.m. The My Tys, a 2 tone ska and reggae group, pay homage to classic 2 tone bands such as Madness, The Specials and Bad Manners while also carving out their own sound, bringing something new to the Chicago ska and reggae scene.

Soft Speaker is next, beginning at 10:30 p.m., a Chicago – based group of musicians who perform Sanftsprecher music with crude electric instruments, much to the dismay of purist fans who prefer the orchestral versions.

Wrapping up the evening is the Jacob Horn Trio, beginning at 11:30 p.m. This trio simply goes by an “ill-named narcissistic band from Chicago.”

Heroso and The Teenage Mutant 90’s Turtles – Saturday, February 11

Beginning at 9:30 p.m. guests are invited to jam out with Heroso, a high-energy rock band from Bloomington who cover everything from Aerosmith to Green Day, Lady Gaga to Big & Rich, all done with a rock feel.

Then, beginning at 10:30 p.m., guests are invited to stick around and rock out to Teenage Mutant 90’s Turtles, rising from the sewers beneath the city to jam out and cover all your 90’s favorites, complete with witty banter and 90’s pop culture trivia.

Little Birds and Keith Scott Blues – Friday, February 17

Guests are invited to enjoy the sounds of Littlebirds beginning at 9:30 p.m. Littlebirds amplifies a classic Americana sound by layering in violin melodies, heavy hitting guitar synchronization, and 3 & 4 part vocal harmonies for a one-of-a-kind sound.

Then, beginning at 10:30 p.m., Keith Scott Blues takes the stage, a celebrated blues musician who has performed his own brand of blues inspired music at clubs including House of Blues, Hard Rock Cafe as well as festivals throughout the country and Canada.

Odds Lane and Chronic Edge – Saturday, February 25

Chronic Edge follows, beginning at 10:30 p.m. Chronic Edge brings a fresh sound to Rock ‘N’ Roll, along with their high energy stage presence, unique sound and self-written music that appeals to a diverse crowd.

Mercadito Chicago Hosts Holiday Party Experiential Dinner, December 19 

Featuring an exquisite four-course menu expertly paired with Casamigos Tequila cocktails

Mercadito Chicago, a Molise PR client, is celebrating the holiday season with a special Holiday Party Experiential Dinner on Monday, December 19 from 6-9 p.m.

The evening is hosted by Monica Dim of Casamigos Tequila and Executive Chef Patricio Sandoval of Mercadito, who carefully curated a delicious four-course meal, each course paired perfectly with a Casamigos Tequila cocktail.

Guests will start off with the first course of Sopa de Hongos, made with shitake, oyster & hen of the woods mushrooms, chile guajillo, corn, chile ancho, epazote, beef broth, huitlacoche croutons and Serrano crema.

Next, guests will delight in Chef Patricio’s Tortitas de Bacalo, mini bolillos filled with salt cod stew, tomatoes, olives, capers, pickled jalapeños, red onions, olive oil, crispy skin and parsley.

The main course includes Chamorro de Cerdo, featuring Coca-Cola braised pork shank, sweet potato, apples, chestnuts, chile pasillas prune sauce, green beans and micro greens.

For dessert, guests will treat themselves to Buñuelos, sugar and cinnamon dusted fritters, smoked sweet plantains, roasted yams, condensed milk, piloncillo syrup and warm chocolate milk.
