Chris Rock Gino's East-2

Our Chicago Public Relations Agency was thrilled to work with their restaurant client Gino’s East, as the director and star of film “Top Five” Chris Rock made a stop there on December 10. During his visit, Chris had the opportunity to serve a couple of lucky fans a slice of Gino’s famous deep dish pizza.

Chris Rock’s visit to Chicago was part of a plan to “rock” America by visiting his “top five” cities over the course of two consecutive days, stopping in five cities per day. Other major cities Chris planned to visit included Philadelphia, Boston, Baltimore, Washington, DC, Atlanta, Dallas, St. Louis, Detroit and Minneapolis.

Chris Rock’s upcoming film “Top Five” tells the story of a comedian-turned-film actor star Andre Allen (played by Chris), whose encounter with a journalist forces him to confront the comedy career, and the past, that he has left behind. The film premiered in theaters on December 12, 2014.
