About Our Principal

Prior to launching Molise PR in 2009, principal Michelle Molise supervised full scale theatre campaigns on behalf of Broadway In Chicago for WICKED, Jersey Boys, Disney’s Mary Poppins and Oprah Winfrey’s The Color Purple; world premiere engagements like Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me; and the tours of the world’s best Broadway productions. Other publicity work includes Entertainment Cruises at Navy Pier; Lettuce Entertain You restaurants, Morton's the Steakhouse, Reserve nightclub; Sofitel, Le Bar and Café des Architectes; and more, working for preeminent Chicago PR firm Margie Korshak, Inc.

Michelle launched her career at The Breslin Center, Michigan State University’s events arena. While there, Molise supervised an 80-person production staff as the MSU basketball team reached National Champion status. She also promoted live shows ranging from Bob Dylan and KISS to Maya Angelou, and a hysteria-filled evening of Backstreet Boys.

Her success led her to Olympia Entertainment, handling marketing for live sports & entertainment events at Comerica Park, home of the Detroit Tigers; and Joe Louis Arena, home to the Stanley Cup Champion Detroit Red Wings. Michelle promoted shows at the Cobo Arena, Second City Theatre, and the Fox Theatre, nationally ranked number one in ticket sales during her tenure.

Michelle then joined the consumer marketing team at Detroit Free Press and The Detroit News, where she developed a comprehensive understanding of journalism and the media realm. A highlight of her stint there was serving as a promotional partner to the Detroit Pistons, where Michelle was able to be part of their National Championship win against the Lakers.
